Chin, neck and a little of shoulder of Athena to left; the edge of the neck-piece of her helmet appears just below the break. White for flesh.

A bit from the outer edge of the plate, with most of the down-turned rim. On the top, a scraped groove.
On the underside, crudely scratched, the letters Α Β Γ.

Very low ring foot. Nearly vertical walls. Impressed egg pattern on flat rim. Large discus, sharply concave, ridged.
Traces of signature on bottom (?).
