Flat-topped rim, flaring ring foot; attachments for one horizontal handle remain at point of greatest diameter. Hard grayish buff clay with purplish tinge; no mica; traces of smooth buff slip. Decoration in dull black to brown glaze, much worn; rim and foot glazed; a pair of broad bands on shoulder and on lower wall; glaze around handle-roots. On wall, in space between the two pairs of bands, an ogee pattern with irregular strokes pendent from the band above. East Greek.
