Spreading wall of shallow cup, with four grooves partway up exterior.

Rim beveled to inside, with groove below. Groove further down inner wall divides interior into two zones. Inner zone bordered by groove and black line: parts of three rows of imbricate, rounded petals, the inner two pink and outlined in yellow and black, the outer row outlined in black. Upper zone: on yellow ground, broad, horizontal white stripe with traces of red, and with short, thin, black strokes along it on either side. Very hard, thin, brittle, and very micaceous fabric with a few blisters, light red in break (2.5YR 6/6), paler on surface; fugitive, chalk-white slip inside.
