Description: | Two joining fragments preserve about half the top and some of side and bottom, with traces of two nozzles, opposite each other. Discus, plain with two filling holes; on rim, herringbone. Two impressed circles at nozzle. Handle pierced, three grooves on each side, broken away above. On reverse, two concentric grooves and impressed circles. Unglazed. Buff clay. Type XXVIII of Corinth collection. ADDENDA Two more joining fragments, from containers 54 and 58 comes from the third nozzle. | |
