Notes: | This juvenile cranium was found between two other juvenile crani in the west end of Grave 2016-08. It was unclear if it was articulated with anything at first but removal of the skulls to the N and S revealed some articulated vertebrae, ribs, R scapula, R humerus. However, the humerus is abducted at a 45 degree angle to the orientation of the vertebrae. The skeleton likely ends around T4 or T5. Kostos suggested that this skeleton was associated with the articulated feet/legs (1006) at the E end. I do not think this I probable due to the diatnce between the two and the fact that both are still fairly well articulated. It would be almost impossible to separate remains in such a way at that distance (ca. 1.5m) apart. | |
