Description:   The context shape in plan is sub-rectangular. The top break of the cut is varies. The sides of the cut are mixed. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: Truncated by Grave 2016-07 (Cut 993).
Notes:   This cut was found in the course of excavating fill 1004 and skeleton 1012. It spans about 2/3rds of thelength of Grave 2016-08 as contained by cut 1009. It is not a complete burial cut as it was truncated by cut 993 for Grave 2016-07 on the north side and likely by the bottom of at least one burial in Grave 2016-08 within cut 1009.
