L 0.19 x W 0.09 x D 0.02. Material finish: roughly worked or unworked stones; mold made tiles, fragmented. Material construction: 3 visible courses. Material bonding: none other than soil.
Notes:   This is a rough wall built of cobbles and large tile pieces that lines Grave 2014-04. It was only fully revelaed by the removal of fill 1030 by the church threshold. A narrow strip of fill separates it from the threshold, but it is aligned to abut the wall (Wall 21) beyond the span of the doorway to the east.

So that we could excavate the fill between this wall and the threshold, we removed the top two courses. In doing so, Kostos exposed the top of a skull lying approximately at the halfway point of the wall on the east face of the third course. As we did not want to excavate burials at this late stage of the session, removal of the wall was halted and the context closed. The burial the skull belongs to was excavted in 2014 (Grave 2014-04). This burial is apparently a remant from the grave.
