Description:   The soil color is light brownish black. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey sand.
Notes:   Deposit continues on the S side under the paved courtyard and on the east side where it further continues, as visible in the east scarp (an artificial boundary). The west side deposit 1107was possibly laid against and possibly laid on top of mudbricks (1073). The excavation of 1107 has verified that these mudbricks do not appear to be a structure, and it is even possible to suggest that these are not mudbricks, but only a concentration of clay, well sorted and remarkably sterile. Deposit 1107 might be may be a leveling deposit which may be a subfloor on top of which a lime floor was laid (1106). This was the final context excavated in season 2 of the 2017 excavations.
