Area:   Temple E, Southeast
Title:   Fill of pit in NE corner of courtyard
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1108
Context:   160
Date:   2014/04/24
Stratum:   5% inclusions of angular pebbles, small rare tile frags, ceramics
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brownish black. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This is the second pit fill taken in the northeast corner of our courtyard survace, both revealed by the removal of 152. 160 had almost nothing in it--very few ceramic fragments and no glass or bone. The surface revealed on the bottom has noticable carbon in it, much like the layer it's cut into. It doesn't look like an intentional fill, since it's so bare of inclusions.
