Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   Temple E, Southeast, context 213
Area:   Temple E, Southeast
Title:   Cut of the road
Notebook:   1108
Context:   213
Date:   2014/05/06
Description:   The context shape in plan is rectrangular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is vertical sides and flat base.
Notes:   The context serves as the cut for fill 211. The cut is clearly defined by its hard edges on the sides. It comes to a very flat surface at the bottom. The flat surface can be identified as a part of a lower surface road. It is noted that the removal of deposits 70 and 203 revealed the possible continuation of this road surface to the north. Unfortunately, the connection of cut 213 either with the road surface that has been revealed by the removal of road 193 and substratum 209, or with the construction of the vaulted chamber, remains unclear.
