Description:   The soil color is dark pinkish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Deposit context 415 is the fill of a pit cut through the tile floor in unit 2 room A. NB 867 B39 (p.61) is recorded as an ash filled pit fill excavated on May 3rd, 1994, to a bottom elevation of 85.05, suggesting that the pit fill excavated as deposit context 415 is actuallt backfill. The pottery of NB 870 B 39 waas not lotted, but the date assigned to the basket was the late 12th, early 13th century.
