Description:   The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Under the tile floor in unit 2 room A, a series of pit appear to have been cut through the plaster skimming beneath, perhaps indicating cuts through the tile flooring. This deposit context is the eastern and southernmost postion of the pit fill, which extends westward outside the section of the floor lifted. The contents, though shallow, are extremely ashy and have been sent for water sieving.
