Description:   Top slope of the context is moderate down to the N. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   Removal of the floor (context 413) made clear a difference in the fill below. The soil of this context is whiter than that to the east. It rained throughout the morning, which made the distinction in soil colors clearer. This deposit is laid against the partial wall (442) and stone platform (455) along its northern edge. Removal of the deposit revealed a hard cement surface underneath that appears to extend under wall 110.
