Notes:   Deposit context 440 I is the fill of a shallow trench running along the orientation of the NS wall revealed below the tile floor in unit 2 room A. The fill of the trench seems to level out the uneven pockets from the removal of the upper courses of the wall for the remodeling of the space and the construction of room A. It is clear that the fill of this trench continues northward under the tile paving that remains in situ outside of the area of the test trench.
