Notes:   This is roughly the eastern half of what we had previously been calling wall 436. However, the foundation trench (delineated by cut 505) revealed that this eastern half had at least 3 courses and surrounded it on the N, S and W sides. Further, the western half of this wall was revealed as 1 course of stones and without a foundation trench - though at the same elevation as the top course of 510 - and we therefore split what had previously been thought to be a single wall into two. We kept the designation 436 for the 1-course stub wall in the west and named the 3-course eastern wall 510. Therefore, 510 appears to be the western end of an earlier W-E wall (comprising 156 and 510) and 436 is a later extension to this wall and bedding for the later wall that was built on top of it. Alternatively, 380 could have collapsed and 436 could be the collapse of this wall. Wall 510/156 enclosed the space north of the church definitively as a corridor or alleyway. Wall 510 in particular delineates Room 7 of Unit 2 from this newly formed corridor.
