Notes: | Opening Elevation: E: 122.457 N: 1077.614 Z: 84.783 Coin (#24) Elevation: E: 122.794 N: 1076.955 Z: 84.758 This layer seems to come in between two contexts (613, 619) that have subsequently been equated as one. Since this context is on the edge of the excavation area, it could represent a sort of 'inter-fingering' event, where different fill material dumped into Unit 2, Room 7, fell to the south, partially overlaying 619 before more fill of the same general composition as 619 was dumped into the western half of the corridor above 619. The workmen (Kostas) felt that it was something different than 613, but the difference was rather diffuse to me. 01/06/2015 (Larkin Kennedy, Rossana Valente) Animal bones: sheep/goat, bird, oyster, 0.43, kg, saved as bone lot 2015-12. 15/07/2015 [I. Tzonou-Herbst, K. Petrole] One "Good Thing" listed from Context 618 to be saved as part of GOOD THINGS Lot 2015-48. The one GT (white ware, glaze-painted plate) was selected as "Held"; changed to select "GT". | |
