Lot:   Lot 2015-011
Stratum:   Fine-medium platy, angular pebbles, few rounded, tabular pebbles, small pieces of angular and tabular tile, few small pieces of charcoal. 40%
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is clayey sand.
Notes:   The surface had been exposed since Williams' excavations in the room in 1996. It had been cleaned several times over the years, most recently in 2014 and at the beginning of the 2015 season. The floor surface was uneven with a slight slope to the West. IN order to understand the use of Room 9 better, we took out this long-exposed floor surface throughout the entire room, revealing possible pits in the SW, N of the big pit, and possibly a pit cutting the big pit to the E. Removing 628 extended over two days (27th and 28th).
