Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is weakly cemented. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   The soil seems to be the same all the way across the corridor, but there are patches of more rocky material at the western and eastern ends. We are starting at the west in order to see if we can distinguish any differences between the patches. We are also removing the last of Pit NB850. Also a scrape down Grave 2014-08 was included in this context. We are beginning to take out the line of stones in the southern half of the corridor, starting with the westernmost. We found a linear feature of small stones running east-west in the middle of thi spass. In order to define the material spilling over this linear feature, we will stop and make the next pass (to the south of the linear feature) a new context. Only the southwest corner of the corridor was excavated in this context (655). Similar rocky material to this context (655) will be excavated from the northeast corner as context 658.
