Lot:   Lot 2015-023
Stratum:   inclusions: 15-20% pottery, bone, stones, charcoal, tile, brick
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is greyish brown. The soil compaction is weakly cemented. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This context has the same matrix as the context (655) immediately to the east. We decided to make it a new context because it lacks the concentration of cobbles that was characteristic of 658 in the NE corner of the corridor. 662 starts as a thin layer in the middle of the corridor and slopes down to the north underneath wall 156. As we headed west, the layer became thinner and we came down on a harder soil with more inclusions - very similar, probably the same as what was underneath 658.
