Notes:   Under 642 (cleaning/defining of the pit)
An irregularly shaped oval pit that may have not been completely dug out on account of small boulder and other cobbles in its bounds. A section of the pit did continue to a lower elevation and G. Sanders suggested that it possibly could be an animal burrow. At the bottom elevation medium, angular, tile pieces are visible and charcoal (large chunk) is visible in the upper elevation and western side of the pit. Cut of the pit is context 670. The area of the pit was sunken even before 628 was removed, although its boundaries were not clear until Context 642 was used to define them.
