Notes:   Coin 109 (sieve): Villehardouin CORINTVM
This rocky deposit in the SW corner of room 9 was cut by the corner pit dug in the 1990s and pit 668. The context originally was thought to extend to the pot (703), but it did not extend quite that far (12 cm between them). The soil of 704, though, seemed similar to that in which the pot was sitting. For now, the two may, tentatively, be equated. 704 appears to be a dump of fill with a mix of materials.
