Description:   Structure materials: limestone, some conglomerate, and roof tiles. Material size: average size of large stones = 0.30 x 0.21 m.; several small sounded stones with diameter less than 0.11 m.. Material finish: Mixed/mostly roughly hewn. Material construction: Random uncoursed. Material bonding: dry packed mud.
Notes:   Wall 720 is partially robbed out and not clearly bonded to Wall 700 or to Wall 729. The stones of Wall 720 go deeper than Wall 659 and 700. It is possible that we have not yet found the foundations. Cleaning by Thanasis in the southern of the two robbing trenches found a lower course of stones not removed in the robbing and now reflected in the drawings.
Note: For safety reasons, leaning rockon north side of west wall was removed along with soil beneath it. A coin (212) was found in the soil: E. 127.25, N. 1083.73, H. 84.74. Coin 212 is illegible, possibly Guy I de laRoche 1225-1263.
Note 2: Digging in Pit 733 revealed several more courses of stones for Wall 720, but still not foundation trench.
Note 3: The stones of Wall 720 appear to rest upon the bottom of Pit 733, which may have served as the foundation trench and a trash dump.
