Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is weakly cemented. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   728 is fill in the foundation trench underneath 714, and likely the same material as 714. We had to excavate it as different contexts because there was not enough room to dig deeper before removing soil to the north. As Kostas removed 728, we found a rectangular, flat stone perpendicular to (but not abutting) the line of stones underneath the north wall of the church (which we have been calling the foundation of Wall 20). Some material from 728 may have contaminated 725. The soil was wet from rain the night before.
