Arbitrary change in context numbers, but a continuation of the large pit (cut 733, fills 717, 726, & 773 (?)). The contents of the fill were the same as 726 with many animal bones, charcoal pieces, and pieces of pottery, both large and small. It appears that the large pit was rapidly filled with a rather mixed, but consistent deposit. Context 747 was dug and sieved over the course of four days. The bottom of the large pit was mostly revealed by the removal of 747. A portion of soil above the partially collapsed cistern may also be part of the pit and will be dug as 773. All coins were found in the sieve.
Note 1 - The southern-most part of the pit is stepped inward (c.. 29 cm) at the level of this context
Note 2 - Bottom in uneven and slopes to the east
Note 3: Takis found a join in the glass between Context 726 and 747 on 25/5/2015; it is very likely that there are also joins between the two contexts in the pottery.
