Name:   Temple E, Southeast, context 819
Area:   Temple E, Southeast
Title:   Fill of central pit in Room 8
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1109
Context:   819
Date:   2015/06/02
Lot:   Lot 2015-004
Stratum:   5% subrounded spherical medium pebbles. Pottery and bone fragments, many of more than 10 cm.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark brownish yellow. The soil compaction is stongly cemented. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   7:30: Excavation of the context started early in the morning of 3-6-15. The context is easily removed although its consistency is harder than 806. Finds include pottery and bone fragments of less than 10 cm. It seems that these remains did not suffer trampling for an extended period of time before being deposited in the fill.
8:13: At the bottom of the deposit a sharp boundary is established; the surface exposed is characterised by the presence of stones and tiles of c. 15-20 cm long and c. 10 cm wide. They are scattered without apparent order and do not seem to constitute any defined horizontal surface.
