Stratum:   40% inclusions, several large boulders, mostly cobbles. Pottery and tile fragments, bone.
Description:   The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is weakly cemented. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Layer with large rocky inclusions that workman associates with the similar layer removed to the south. Abuts foundation trench to the North and robbing trench to the West. Seems to sit atop the surface which extends to East and South. Largest inclusions at the top of layer, finer and less compact soil below. At the North, we come down on another rocky layer.

Large pithos fragment, and iron crucible piece.
Small bronze piece, possibly a fastener.
Bronze toothed object, perhaps a comb. [MF-2015-58 inventoried as Bronze Eyelash. 2015/06/23, K.Petrole]
Sits atop 826 (another rocky layer) and the softer soil to the south.
North side cut by the foundation trench, and possibly by robbing trench.
