Description:   The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. It is silty clay.
Notes:   Irregularly contoured surface or deposit, with few visible inclusions, extending from NE corner south until context 877. Seems to sit atop another inclusion-filled surface that continues further south. Few inclusions, relative to surrounding contexts; most are only 1-2 cm.
Excavation continued the morning of 16/6. At the NE corner of grave 2015-08, we come down on a semicircular depression, perhaps from a bothros or tomb. Beneath the rest, there are a series of rocky, soft layers that would need to be peeled away subsequently.
