Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   Temple E, Southeast, context 922
Area:   Temple E, Southeast
Context Type:   cut
Title:   Shallow cut with reddish fill
Notebook:   1110
Context:   922
Date:   2016/05/06
Description:   The context shape in plan is oval. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is sloping. Truncation: The cut has likely been truncated from an earlier fill level (context 914)..
Notes:   The cut was revealed after excavation of context 914. The soil within it was much more red than that adjacent to it to the east. The pit protruces into an area previously excavated by another session. Erosion in that area from being exposed has caused the pit to appear mor sloped that itlikely is. The elevation points taken within the pit reflect the newly excavated area.
