Stratum:   Soil included pottery, tile, fine and medium pebbles.
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   This context is a fill layer located between Wall 20 and the NW piear, Str. 23. It was excavated to more clearly define a cut observed beneath from the excavation of abutting contexts 936 and 938. Perhaps the deposition of so many successive fill layers indicates consistent repair or renovating of a floor surface.
