Stratum:   5% small angular pebbles
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We are cleaning out the top of the stone lined structure, which lies west and abuts the west wall of Unit 2, Room 3. It appears that there is a slight layer of silt and wash so we are beginning with a cleaning layer. Looking through previous notebooks, it is unclear if this was every fully excavated. (See structure 94 for full discussion of previous excavations.) We are leaving a martyr along its eastern edge where the wall has been conserved to avoid modern contamination. Once the silt and wash was removed we closed the deposit to open the removal of fill.
