The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | | Notes: | | We are cleaning out the top of the stone lined structure, which lies west and abuts the west wall of Unit 2, Room 3. It appears that there is a slight layer of silt and wash so we are beginning with a cleaning layer. Looking through previous notebooks, it is unclear if this was every fully excavated. (See structure 94 for full discussion of previous excavations.) We are leaving a martyr along its eastern edge where the wall has been conserved to avoid modern contamination.
