Notes: | The skeleton of Grave 2016-04 was an infant at age of death (based on size; the dentition is available for assessment). The skeleton was in situe, but very fragile. The bones were quite damp due to the very clay-ey moist soil in which they were embedded. The right arm appeated to be crossed over the chest. The skull was quite fragmentary prior to removal. It did not stay together well upon rremoval. The long bones were the most robust buones. The left leg appeared to be turned out toward the left side (north) slightly. | |
